Founded by Giuseppe “Joe Grande” Basile, born in Carini, Sicily, Grande Pizza & Family Restaurant has been a cornerstone of the Moosic community for over five decades. Joe brought the authentic flavors of his homeland to Northeastern Pennsylvania — handmade dough, simmered-from-scratch sauces, and recipes passed down through generations.
Today, the Grande family continues that tradition, serving every dish with the same care and quality that has earned us the trust of our neighbors since the doors first opened at 4200 Birney Avenue.
